Do you want to grow Organic fruit?

Blackberries

Blackberries

Blackberries

If you want to grow fruit, start with these bushes that can grow very large without use of organic fertilizers. I planted mine in the garden, however, they spread and will take over.  In order to contain, I took a large plastic pot, cut off the bottom and planted the bush, in the pot directly in the garden.  This eliminated the unwanted spreading.  You will be a gardener with an abundance of produce with minimal effort.

Buy bushes in the spring, they can be found at any garden center and come in many varieties.  I planted about 12 different varieties, the more the better, as this will help with the pollination. My blog will share which varieties grow the best, as well as, how to protect from birds.

These bushes are perennial , they grow year after year. The organic fertilizer is the same for all berries.  As a gardener, you need protect the fruit you grow from birds.
